Walk to Exercise Not Socialize

If you don’t have symptoms and haven’t been told to self-isolate, you can go for a walk in your neighborhood or your yard. This should be for exercising, not to socialize with neighbors and friends. Help prevent the spread of #COVID19NS.

Provincial beaches and parks are closed but some trails are still open. Use trails in your immediate area if you can, as parking may be prohibited or unavailable in some locations.

Many trails are operated by municipalities and community groups – confirm they are open before going. Make sure you can maintain a social distance of 2 metres or 6 feet while on the trail to prevent the spread of #COVID19NS.
