Update on COVID-19 - March 20, 2020

Premier Stephen McNeil, Minister of Business Geoff MacLellan, and Dr. Robert Strang, Nova Scotia's chief medical officer of health provide an update on #COVID19NS. There is one new case in Nova Scotia, and it is travel-related.

A $161 million package for small and medium-sized businesses will help them access credit and address cash flow.

Government is suspending payments on Nova Scotia student loans from March 30 to Sept. 30. The suspension is automatic.

Government is providing $15 million as an incentive to providers to speed up projects under the Internet for Nova Scotia Initiative and complete them as soon as possible.
