Summer Fun

Summer Programs 2021

There are public health restrictions for recreational programming that we need to follow, therefore there will be a limited number of spaces in all programs.  To allow a chance for everyone to register for day camps we ask that you only register for 3 camps per child. When the province moves into Phase 4 of the re-opening plan we will be allowed to open more spaces in camps and will take kids off of the waitlist. To be added to the waitlist for any program please call or email the Recreation and Parks Department, 902-875-3544 ext 230 or

Registration for all programs will open on Tuesday June 29, 2021 at 10:30am (in-person and online).

How to Register:

  1. Register online (for half day camps, or half/full day special events) visit our Registration page.
  2. Sign up for any program by calling 902-875-3544 ext 230 or emailing

Swimming Lessons

Although extensive efforts were made over the past two years to recruit, train, and hire a certified swim staff we will not be able to offer swim lessons this summer. This is due to the level of interest, the volume of training required and training availability. We will continue efforts to recruit and train potential swim instructors for future summers. If you have questions, please contact the Recreation and Parks Department at 902-875-3544 ext 229 or
