The Shelburne County East RCMP Advisory Committee has vacancies for three (3) individuals (one from the Town of Shelburne, one from the Town of Lockeport, and one from the Municipality of Shelburne) to be involved in promoting and preserving safe communities throughout the area. The Committee is created under the authority of the Nova Scotia Police Act, and includes both elected and non-elected representatives.

Letters of application will be received from residents by the undersigned until 12:00 noon on Friday, July 23, 2021. Letters of application should include a brief biography of the individual and information, skills or assets that will be useful to the Committee, together with three professional and/or volunteer related references. Municipality of the District of Shelburne is seeking applications for the term position of Executive Assistant (Administrative Steam) until December 18, 2021, followed by special project implementation of electronic records management until March 31, 2021 (with possible extension). This position is located at the Municipal Administration Building, located at 136 Hammond Street, Shelburne, NS.

The term position offers administrative support for the Chief Administrative Officer as well as the Warden and Council. The records management project offers support to the electronic records management administrator during the implementation phase of the project. Causal Lock-up Guards

Municipality of the District of Shelburne is seeking applications to fill casual Lock-up Guard positions for the Municipality’s Lock-up Facility in Shelburne. Applicants must be able to get to the Lock-up within 30 minutes of a receiving a call.
