Employment Opportunity - Term Finance Clerk

Municipality of the District of Shelburne is seeking applications for the term position of Finance Clerk in the Municipal Administration Building, located at 136 Hammond Street, Shelburne, NS.

This position provides support to the Finance Department with a focus on accounts payable, data entry and provides back up to the Tax Clerk by posting accounts receivable. The complete list of duties, skills and qualifications can be found here.

The term for this position may be up to May 2022, start date of November 2020, with the possibility of starting earlier.

The Municipality of the District of Shelburne is seeking proposals from qualified contractors for Biosolids handling and removal from the existing lagoon and alternate methods to process biosolids, as well as lagoon expansion.

The Municipality of the District of Shelburne is currently seeking proposals, from local artists, for the creation and installation of community art. The intent of community art to promote and encourage engagement between the viewer and the community in which it resides. It is our goal that showcasing a specific art piece within a specific community will create a new or renewed perspective from residents and visitors, while promoting our local art community.
