Premier McNeil and Dr. Robert Strang will provide a #COVID19NS update today at 3 p.m. including details on five new cases of the virus.
Test numbers are updated daily at: https://novascotia.ca/coronavirus/#cases
Public health has now reached a point with one of its current investigations where no links to travel or a previous case can be made and must conclude that this case is the result of transmission within the community. #COVID19NS
While community transmission is not unexpected, it is now more important than ever for Nova Scotians to strictly adhere to the public health orders and directives. #COVID19NS
It is imperative that Nova Scotians practice good hygiene, maintain a physical distance of two metres or six feet from others, limit essential gatherings to no more than five people and stay at home as much as possible. #COVID19NS
To date, Nova Scotia has 5,054 negative test results and 127 confirmed cases of #COVID19NS. Most cases have been connected to travel or a known case. Stay up-to-date at www.novascotia.ca/coronavirus.
