"Flattening the Curve” means using social distancing and self-isolation to keep the spread of COVID-19 at a manageable level.
The “Curve” illustrates how viruses spread. The faster the curve rises, the quicker the health care system gets overloaded.
By practicing social distancing (limiting our contact with others) and self-isolation if instructed (staying home, away from others), we can help slow the spread of COVID-19. This “Flattens” the curve.
