Live Update - Nova Scotia Government, March 27, 2020

Premier McNeil and Dr. Strang will provide an update today at 3 p.m. about #COVID19NS including 17 new cases. None of the new cases are connected to the St. Patrick’s Day gathering in Lake Echo (HRM). All attendees are being contacted and tested. Case investigations are ongoing. Public health cannot confirm a link to community spread.

Live Update - Nova Scotia Government, March 26, 2020

Premier McNeil, Dr. Strang, Dr. Brendan Carr, president and CEO, Nova Scotia Health Authority and Dr. Krista Jangaard, president and CEO, IWK Health Centre will provide a COVID-19 update today at 3 p.m. about five new cases of the virus in Nova Scotia. This brings the total to 73 confirmed cases in the province.

One of the new cases cannot currently be linked to travel or an earlier case. The investigation to determine the source of the exposure is ongoing and community spread cannot be confirmed at this point. #COVID19NS

It is imperative that anyone who has travelled outside Nova Scotia to self-isolate for 14 days and for everyone to adhere to the five-person social gathering limit.

Premier McNeil and Dr. Strang will provide an update today at 3 p.m. about COVID-19, including 17 new cases. To date, Nova Scotia has 2,772 negative test results and 68 confirmed cases.

Live Update - Nova Scotia Government, March 24, 2020

Premier McNeil and Dr. Strang will provide an update today at 3 p.m. about 10 new cases of #COVID19. The cases are travel-related or connected to earlier reported cases. Several of the new cases are connected to groups who have returned to NS following travel outside of Canada. None of these cases are from spread within the community. Today’s update will be livestreamed at 3 p.m. on https://novascotia.ca/stayinformed/webcast or https://www.facebook.com/nsgov/ 

The 51 positive cases in NS range in age from under ten to mid-70's, from all parts of the province. One individual remains in hospital. One individual has recovered and their case of #COVID19 is considered resolved.

Live Update - Government of Nova Scotia, March 23, 2020

At 3 p.m., Premier McNeil and Dr. Strang will provide an update on 13 new cases of #COVID19. As of March 23, Nova Scotia has 41 confirmed cases of COVID-19. Affected individuals range in age from under ten to mid-70’s. Cases have been identified in all parts of the province.
