Live Update - Nova Scotia Government, May 12, 2020

Nova Scotia has 1,020 confirmed cases of #COVID19. One new case was identified Monday, May 11, when the lab completed 427 Nova Scotia tests.

Three licensed long-term care homes and unlicensed seniors' facilities have active cases of #COVID19. Northwood has 157 residents and 8 staff with active cases. One other facility has a staff member with an active case and another facility has a resident with an active case.

Nova Scotia has 34,204 negative test results, 1,020 positives, 48 deaths and 864 people have recovered from #COVID19. Nine individuals are in hospital, four in ICU. Data is updated daily at https://novascotia.ca/coronavirus/data.

Live Update - Nova Scotia Government, May 5, 2020

Premier McNeil and Dr. Strang will provide a #COVID19NS update at 3 p.m. including information on three more deaths and six new cases of #COVID19. Watch on Facebook Live, YouTube (NSGov) or at https://novascotia.ca/stayinformed/webcast.

Nova Scotia is reporting three additional deaths related to COVID-19, bringing the total to 41. The deaths occurred at the Northwood long-term care home in Halifax.

Nova Scotia has 991 confirmed cases of COVID-19. Six new cases were identified yesterday, when the lab completed 454 Nova Scotia.

As of May 4, there were 11 licensed long-term care homes and unlicensed seniors' facilities in Nova Scotia with cases of COVID-19, involving 245 residents and 113 staff.

Premier Stephen McNeil: “We are working hard with the Northwood team and our partners have rallied around the home and its residents and staff. We will keep supporting them until this horrible disease is defeated.”

Nova Scotia has 30,984 negative test results, 991 positives, 41 deaths and 652 individuals have recovered from COVID-19. Six people are currently in hospital, two in ICU. Data is updated daily at https://novascotia.ca/coronavirus/data.
