Regular Council Meeting
Please join us on the fourth Monday of every month for our regular meeting of Council. Council meetings begin at 5:00 pm in the Council Chambers on the third floor of the Municipal Administration Building located at 136 Hammond Street, Shelburne.
Meetings of the Council are open to the public in accordance with the Municipal Government Act of Nova Scotia. We welcome everyone to attend and listen to the discussions and decisions, but remember – only those who are on the agenda may address Council or a committee. Exceptions to this general rule include public hearings and second readings of any by-law under consideration.
For confidentality reasons, some Council and Committee meetings must be held in closed sessions. It will noted in the agendas and meeting minutes of an open meeting whether a closed meeting has been held, and generally the matter under consideration.

- Setting minimum price to be accepted at a tax sale
- Personnel matters
